The Mind and Body Connection

The mind is a combination of your thoughts, perceptions, emotions, beliefs, attitudes, and images. The brain is the hardware that lets us experience mental states of mind. These mental states can be conscious or unconscious. Each mental state is associated with the physical body. Each  mental state has a positive or negative effect in the physical body. For example, the mental state of anxiety causes you to produce stress hormones and increase the blood pressure.

The Neurons

Did you know that your brain is made up of billions of brain cells called neurons, which use electricity to communicate with each other. The combination of millions of neurons sending signals produces an enormous amount of electrical activity in the brain, which can be detected using EEG.The combination of electrical activity of the brain is commonly called a Brain-WavePattern.

The many billions of brain cells create the field of electricity, which synchronizes with each other and produces a different pattern of electromagnetic brain-waves whether you are awake, asleep, meditate or you are in hypnosis.
